Re: mplayer vs gnome-mplayer vs mpv vs VLC
@williams2
I absolutely agree with you
The capability for hardware decoding is very important especially for older computer.
A user with intel gpu computer should never use mplayer
because mplayer doesn't support vaapi.

Re: Seamonkey does not load a site
@Mercedes350se
the reason is the used javascript engine of seamonkey.
The bug is known and reported.
I'm afraid we have to wait for a bugfix or js engine update.

Re: Skanlite 'portable' - the KDE Project's scanner app - AppImage-based...
here the reason of missing icons
Skanlite is a Qt application and does not care about gtk themes.
Independent what gtk icon theme is defined as default, Skanlite will ignore this.
To solve this problem you can use a config tool like qt5ct to define the themes for qt applications too.

Re: Skanlite 'portable' - the KDE Project's scanner app - AppImage-based...
@HerrBert
Looks like a simple missing icons problem.
Re: PeasyScan
@rcrsn51
tested in SLC64, works OOTB there.
Thank you very much.

Re: MakeMKV No Disc to Open
@sfein1000
maybe the generic driver is needed for your drive
try the kernel module sg
Code: Select all
modprobe sg -v
could be a reason but I'm not sure
