This is now beyond me why you are not identifying the touchpad the same way in ScPup. At least peebee's fix helps.

Re: QuickPup 20.06.8

Actually the minimum ram required for QuickPup was 1Gb. However, I made some revisions on initrd in order to work at low ram for at least 512Mb. You can try the latest QuickPup on Kohjinsha UMPC. In case of hang, just swap the kernel and zdrv file to older one (don't forget to rename the zdrv file ...

This is also happening when attempting to access the palemoon.org. I saw mikewalsh had updated the 32 bit palemoon portable browser to 29.1.1, so went to check release notes and a similar page was displayed. I checked in different browsers and it was displayed the same. The plaemoon forum and add-on...

what kind of compression do you use for the main.sfs
i could not open it with uextract

thanks

Opened without issue here using uextract. I did it twice, it even opened when I used the symlink, rather than the direct sfs.

I tried using PPM to install audacious . I went to do step by step to see what was going to be installed. The number of missing dependencies kept growing, the last count displayed was about 238 missing, then PPM advised cancelling and manually installing deps first. I cancelled the install. Edit: I ...

First few runs look very good. Initial first run set up completed and connected to wifi successfully. I have noticed on recent boots of fossapup64 that the " Save RAM to 'pup-save'.. ." notification is displayed as soon as the system has started. It is only a recent occurrence. I have run quickpet fossa 2 days ago. When viewing quickpet > help, the last updates appear to be installed 17 No...

Mike,

Just looked through @mistfire's quickpup package list. If you're looking for a later version to use, it shows glibc as version 2.32.

I can't advise regarding which drive appears as sda, I would have thought that with the set up you have it would always be the internal drive that would be sda. The lsblk you show looks normal to me. I run tablets and touchscreen systems. Tap-to-click is a REQUIREMENT. Tap-to-click is NOT a problem with desktop PCs ... only for those laptop users who ...

I couldn't work out how to use the GUI properly, it could turn Tapping on, but it didn't seem to give an option to turn Tapping off. As mentioned my laptop defaults to tapping off. Re: Howto avoid Tap-To-Click during quicksetup?

Yes disabling Tap-to-click is the first thing I need to do. It is the most irritating thing on new pups. Some puppy variants now use psynclient , it's config file is /root/.config/psynclient.conf. It is not in the original puppy.sfs, so seemingly gets created at first boot. There is also psynclient....

There's nothing wrong with conky. It's the config file that the conky you are running in the screenshots above is different from what you normally see . The config file you are running is contained in /etc/conky/conky.conf. That is a default config file, this is what you see if you just issue a comm...

I believe pfind will achieve your goal. If you use Advance Search, you can target specific text 'chem*.epub ' in specific directories. The resulting list should contain what you are after. In the top menu item Action , you can select copy, which will copy the entire list the search found. Note: you ...
