每个中文包，都有一定的系统要求，而芭比的英文系统，每一个都是作者自由开发，在开发的过程中，难免要作出取舍。所以结果是，并非百分之百的芭比英文系统，都能兼容所有的中文包，就算系统可以运行中文包，亦并非所有应用程式，也能运行中文包。
在 Kirkstone_5.5.3 下，中文包是可以运行的，但在Kirkstone_5.5.3 的Chromium中就无法使用中文包。解决的办法，可以用另外一个浏览器，我测试过，palemoon 及 seamonkey 都可以运行中文包。如果你发现有其他更好的解决办法，欢迎和大家分享。

在比较有规模的 Linux 基础系统中，如 debian, slackware, ubuntu 等，都自备一套比较完善的软件包管理系统。当我为这些 Linux 基础系统的英文版本，安装中文包时，就会知道要在某一英文 Linux 基础系统中安装中文包时，所须安装的所有软件。由于其他芭比衍生系统，大都是基于较有规模的 Linux 基础英文系统组合而成，所以只要将原来的 Linux 基础系统中文包，作出适当的调整，就能够为其他 Linux 系统，造出所须的中文包了。

道理是比较简单的，但实践起来，也要花些时间和耐心，到你看过，看熟所有不同的 Linux 基础系统中的不同变化方式后，造起中文包来，自然就会更加省时，流畅，及有效率了。
