Thanks peebee, I'm onboard here for now.

My pups: LxPupSc64 and Voidpup64 with LXDE ydrv & synaptics touchpad drivers, both using savefiles. Ydrv based Jammypup64 (JWM), Bookworm64, Fossapup23 & FossapupFire (LXDE/PCManFM). No savefiles, no fdrvs there.

DPup's from actual DEBIAN (josejp2424 at SourceForge!)

Post by welpe »

download 32 bit with or without / 64 bit and depository: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpup/

Debian = The only one non commercial distro you can buy all CD's, binaries as well sources for cheap, see ebay.com or ebay.co.uk etc. so you will never more miss stuff if you install it! Dpup's from josejp2424 have apt-get and synaptic (but I don't know how to use the 16 CDs sets with them...)

Those big sized Puppy's have also pulseaudio build in (and works well!) in 32 as well as in 64 bit.

Hi peebeeI made a necessary adjustment to your script lx_icon_switcher
Functional when you have too many icon themes installed
I hope it is useful
Cheers

It would be great if people could keep this page in mind:

https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/a ... uppy-linux

Ideally, various Puppy users would feel comforatble updating it as they wish, whenever it needs it.

I don't want to be the only "maintainer" - I'd much rather we all join in..

It could do with more links to:

- update a few links to this new forum
- good Puppy documentation
- "classic", great or "unique" Puppy derivatives
- Puppy-specific programs

You can edit the README through GitHub directly (requires a Github account).

Just go here: https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/a ... /README.md

The Table of Contents hash navigation on this page isn't working for me.

I'm in Tahr on Firefox Light, more of a novice who would be looking for alt-desktop .iso's (XFCE, LXQt).

@peebee

I just wanted to point out the LXPupSc links do not lead to anywhere at the moment.

Is there an alternative link available?
