easyOs 4.2.7 freeze

Hi, I have been following Puppy since the start, lately got interested in EasyOs. Here is my setup I have a Hp laptop with i5-6200 UEFI processor on which all EasyOs 2,3,4,5 and 6 work on Usb key. My second setup is hp laptop with i5-2410m legacy processor. EasyOs 2,3, and 4.0 work using USB key , then from easyOs 4.2.7 it up hangs when booting, I read all kind of post but could not find the answer. Any idea what is different after easyOs 4.0 that would cause this problem.

A signifiant change has taken place with Easy 4.1 : "easy.sfs is now in the working-partition"

Normally it's only a problem for a update from an previous version. (See : viewtopic.php?t=6161) not for a new install.
