Further to the Chinese txzes (version 321.0.6) for Fatdog64-901 released on Oct 15, 2023, I have upgraded them to version 321.6.1 to enable Chinese support on more applications. Known limitations for version 321.6.1:
1. No Chinese support in urxvt for fcitx, gcin, hime, ibus, rime and scim. To enable Chinese support in console, I have added lxterm in all 7 input platforms.
2. No Chinese support in yong for geany, LibreOffice 7.5.2.2 and seamonkey 2.53.15

Have you tried "Google Input Tools Extension"?
In the Chromium menu, choose "Extensions" then "Visit Chrome web store".
After install, looks like it can be configured by "chrome://extensions" (or via the "Settings" menu) then click on "Extension options".

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried Google Input Tools Extension and it appears to be another Chinese input platform that can be activated in Chromium to input and display Chinese. The extension provides a number of different input methods including Chinese inputs. However I cannot see an option inside the extension to run other Chinese input platforms used by the icake pets ( fcitx, scim, gcin, hime, rime, scim and yong).
