Hi, 666philb. It's a strange thing with XnViewMP.pet. If I manually download it from ibiblio via Chromium, then the size is correct (72 M)
http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... s-fossa64/
But if download from nluug, then the size is 196 megabytes. And the properties say that it is Posix tar and not gz or xz.

on it and then look inside remember to check for hidden files
there is also Xdelta to check differences between two files
and #gdmap
to see where the bigness is
