I with Bookworm64 I often use Simple-Python-Http-Server to send magazines to my sister;
Here in Bookwormpup32 instead the same SW I don't find it (Sinaptic). Have you been replaced by other name?

I'd admit that things may be confusing as there's "BookwormPup" offered on this forum (as a true 'Puppy'), but there's also BookwormDog offered (as in section 'DebianDogs')
These OS's are very different.
On BookwormDog you'll find simple-python-http-server in Synaptic but NOT on BookwormPup.

Reminds me of the discussion here to decide what's best to make simple-python-http-server work for you, and you seemed to have found it back then.

Untested, really don't know if it works, worth trying perhaps, you may want to try installing one of these on BookwormPup32 (remove fake .gz extension):

simple-python3-http-server_1.0.0_all.deb.gz

Remove fake .gz and install
