vpup64-IntelN iso

Post by N97 »

This is a remaster of peebee's VoidPup64-20241009 with permission.
Features of this remaster: Intel Alder Lake N series ONLY (N95, N97, N100, N150, N200, N300, & N305 (aka i3) at present)

0.) k6.6.53- no aufs bug & new enough drivers
1.) adrv removed & Light browser- root Install FF128.5.1esr
2.) Addons are uBlock, ClearURLs, CSS-exfil, and PortAuthority... 4 different paths of intrusion.
3.) Kernel modules trimmed to needs of the Intel Alder Lake 'N' series of MPU's. These use ONLY the 'E' cores, so no microcode update needed to resolve P&E core CPUid bug.
4.) Void puppy manager install of mpv.. No front-end, just click on a multimedia file. It will even play movies through a USB2.0 CD/DVD player/burner (sr0 source).
5.) sha256: c75b09a058e0a2a745420a53d2d4cdd81d052348cc01b4cf7663e5e939786de1

BUG: when installing to a USB stick using BOOT FLASH, the boot folder and grub cfg are NOT transferred... Easy fix by deleting the blank grub cfg file from target, and COPY the boot folder and grub cfg from source to target.

About 530Mb iso size, and inflates to about 1.75Gb. Make sure your system has at least 8Gb minimum. The N97 system has 12Gb ON-BOARD; no plug-in ram.

I miss nooby, we both joined within days of each other in 2008. Its a long road here for me, but I grow and change, as we all do, know it or not, like it or not.

Please go to archive.org and enter search-term VoidPup64- the direct link is not allowed for some reason...

@Chelsea80 Try this link...https://archive.org/details/puppylinux
Should take you directly to Puppy Linux Archive rather than the Wayback Machine at Internet Archive!
