Re: Can not compile Nvidia driver in BookwormPup64 10.0.6

Then I tried to boot without X , with prefix=nox , having wired internet and then , I updated apt on command ...

Re: How to install a Nvidia driver using getnvidia program and driver run package
Hello @Clarity :!: Fatdog has an option when you right-click on a pet to transform it into a txz package . It worked for me . I have put the Nvidia...run installer in /home and made it executable , loaded kernel-sources and devx and made sure nouveau was not used , got out of X , on prompt menu wher...

Re: Compiz-Reloaded SFS for Fatdog64-901
I installed Compiz Reloaded using sfs-manager . I confirm it's working with proprietary driver from Nvidia . I closed picom as it's not needed . Same issue with Google Chrome , but the pointer is released when I push the Enter key . The keyboard shortcut works too , in my case , for closing the duns...

My recent desktop uses an AMD RX6400 videocard which I use it with an Asus 4k monitor . Fatdog64 813 boots directly to dektop . For 4k resolution I had to set a new modeline for this monitor with a new file : /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf : Section "Monitor" Identifier "Display...

Re: Fatdog64-811 Final [10 Sep 2020]
I installed the last hardinfo package hardinfo-2021.04.11.0.6alpha-x86_64-1.txz from the repo and I noticed the new CPU notes showing the number of cores and the number of threads . On both laptops I tried it , the number of threads was shown as 1 . Actually I know they are more ... In the screensho...

Re: How to disable Fatdog's shutdown messages?
Hello @deksar I understand you are not saving the system changes by usual means . Many years ago when I started using Fatdog64 I had the same problem . I had found a workaround after some time but later , in a post , @jamesbond gave the right hint to another forum member , I don't remember his name ...
