Re: Problem building kernel 6.9.x with GCC-14

OK - going to follow the advice at: https://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-14/porting_to.html and create a gcc wrapper script /usr/bin/gcc: #!/bin/sh exec /usr/bin/gcc-14.1.0 -fpermissive "$@" This "reverts" GCC-14 to GCC-13 behaviour so fixes the problem for now..... but should allow kernel-6....

@peebee - disappointingly, this s15pup64, as is (like 240505 & without any customising), will not play DRM videos via Firefox ESR (240420 & earlier did).

Does the (full) Firefox .sfs from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/lxpup/ ... /browsers/
help?

Depends what you mean by "all"..... qterminal is still Qt5 (as is obconf-qt) so they won't be there until Qt6 versions appear.....

Do we really need to play catch-up all the time?

It is not possible to build a non-usrmerge Pup using the usrmerge components from one of the usrmerge distros..... so we either have to go usrmerge or stop building Pups from those distros (i.e. Debian and Ubuntu in particular).

Hi Chelsea80 Sorry if my warning has caused concern! If you attempt to install an incompatible .sfs then there are checks in place which will warn you and stop the .sfs being loaded. So you don't need to worry unless your favourite .sfs fails to load..... We have to make this change because all the ...
