Burning Puppy to CD/DVD under Windows

Post by mikeslr »

I discussed Burning Puppy to CD/DVD under Windows here, https://www.forum.puppylinux.com/viewto ... 71#p101671. Note that I wrote from what I remembered when running Windows XP and by referencing posts on the Web. If you have actual experience, especially with Windows 10 or above, please add to this thread.

Works in tiny10 and micro11. So assume it works in full bloat versions. Think it is supposed to work XP to win11.

Features

create data discs (CD, DVD, BD)
multisession CD support
create (gapless) Audio CDs from wav, mp3, flac, ogg files
write disc image (ISO, BIN/CUE), save disc to ISO image
extract audio tracks to wav, mp3, flac or ogg
write (S)VCDs
create DVD-Video disc from VIDEO_TS folder
quick- and full-erase rewritable discs
disc images and Audio CDs can be written simultaneously to multiple writers
optional Windows Explorer integration via ShellExtension
uses cdrtools (cdrecord, mkisofs, ...) and other well-known tools as backend
