@fredx181 I used the new version to convert the rc14 SFS files from xz to zstd compression very easily and smoothly using edit-sfs in KLV-Airedale-rc14. Good work!

Re: edit-sfs update for KLV-Airedale
Hello! I downloaded edit-sfs-1.2_0.noarch.xbps, but I still have a question: What is the advantage or disadvantage of using this or that compression model (XZ, GZ, LZ4, ZSTD), after the sfs files are loaded in the RAM?

@Duprate It is for improved in boot speed. For me the boot speed with xz compression is fast enough. Testing that I have done shows little diffeences in the the different types. But on a machine like my DELL Vostro 15 with a single core CELRON processor the gz or zstd make a difference with quicker boot times.
