I could not find gnumeric in the F96-CE_1 menu and fixed it by
In the /etc/xdq/templates/_root_.jwmrc file change the line:
PUPPYMENU jwm-xdgmenu /etc/xdg/menus/puppy-calculate.menu
to:
PUPPYMENU jwm-xdgmenu /etc/xdg/menus/puppy-business.menu
I remastered once so maybe that introduced the fault.
Edit: Started over with a fresh install to a usb stick. After a day customizing and adding apps everything is working well now. I had lost more than the link tying calculate to business with problems in sound and fonts.
