Trialling Vanilla Dpup 32bit 9.2.24 on a Toshiba Satellite Pro S500:
- Overall impression is this is nice and easy to use.
EDIT: Wow! Bluetooth works! Took under a minute to use the Bluetooth manager to hook up to my Q8 BT speaker. Bonus!
Questions:
- Firefox scroll bar seems too skinny for me - quite fiddly to get the mouse in the right place. Any way to adjust width of Firefox scrollbar?
- Used Puppy setup menu to switch off Tap-to-click (which was nice and easy!) but also had to use that menu to reduce mouse accel. Unfortunately 0.4 is too fast and 0.2 is too slow. Is there a way to select values not shown in the popup box? (EDIT: my problem was mostly caused by "adaptive" profile being set. "Flat" stabilises the mouse a lot). But still keen to know if other values can be typed somewhere.
- Still no scroll bar in the quicksetup dialog for initial selection of timezone. Have i missed info on this or is it just not fixable?
