This is the QEMU stanza used to boot in a VM.

qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 2G -vga cirrus  -smp 2 -device AC97 -hda /dev/sdf

Same behavior as seen on bare-metal.

I view this thread, along with posts that arrive here, as temporary pending a formal v10 thread from its author.

Please do not test 10.0.x under QEMU, wlroots has known limitations under virtual machines and proper support for virtual machines is not a priority for 10.0.0 unless it's fixed outside of Puppy.
