Anyone had ANY experience using this filesystem in Puppyland?
Seemingly it embraces multiple positive qualities that are useful, as seen here.
Further, it looks as thought it handles on-the-fly compression (if setup with it) such that 50% more data can be stored, than normal on its partition(s).
Do modern PUPs know how to use this filesystem in it glory (as I "believe" this has kernel implications)?

I have not tried it, but Gparted says you need installed the btrfs-progs and btrfs-tools to do anything with it.
Probably some of the core Puppy programs and scripts would need code added to support btrfs.
Had to do that to get complete ext4 support in Puppy.

Also, I have noticed that BTRfs is often patched at kernel dot org. Evidently there are quite a few security concerns regarding the coding of BTRfs. Most concerns relate to Meltdown/Spectre types of offenses.
