I've just found this, recently added to the Chrome Web Store:-
Apparently, the Windows build of Google Chrome scrolls nearly twice as fast, OOTB, than the Linux one. This little extension lets you set the Linux build to scroll at the same speed as the M$ build.....something like 1.9x faster, by default. You can also choose to set a custom speed, more to your liking (if required).
Seems to work OK..!
