Dark Reader extension

Post by Grey »

Someone (@hundido, I think) complained about his eyesight when working with the operating system. There is an addon for Firefox and "everything that is Chrome". The addon "on the fly" can change the "design" of an open page in the browser. There are options for more fine tuning.

Chromium based browsers don't actually need an extension to achieve this as there is a built in flag which does the same and is actually pretty effective. The downside is that there is no gui toggle so its a case of going into the flags if we wish to turn on and off.

I think mozilla is planning something similar in the future. For palemoon browser i use advanced night mode by justoff which can be found at github.
