Version 4.1 was released in February 2021
This can be compiled for GTK2 or Qt5 or both (if libraries are installed) with switching between the 2 in Preferences.
It plays most file formats and network stream formats including parsing of .pls and .m3u playlist files.
I have compiled it in a couple of Puppies including support for MIDI files via libfluidsynth (contains a very small and very basic SoundFont file, add your own bigger and better one for much improved MIDI sounds).
