The word 'install' can mean 'install' applications into an operating system or 'install' an operating system onto a medium such as a CD, USB or Hard-drive in such a way that it will 'boot'.
I've noticed that many of the posts in the 'How to Install' thread actually discuss how to install a Puppy onto a medium so that it will boot. If you don't find an answer to your problem on this Section, look here, viewforum.php?f=156
