Hey everyone, this kernel 6.6.79 KIT Non-Usrmerge with overlayfs/aufs is really impressive. It’s clear that a lot of effort was put into implementing the Spectre v2 fix – it works quite well, but the firmware issue remains a challenge. The configuration and modifications require precise settings, and users must remember to delete the initmodules.txt file before the first boot to avoid errors.
