KLV-vmHost-rc4 with Void Linux kernel 6.10.10_1

A KLV system designed as a host system for virtual machines.

This system is similar to KLV-Airedale but has less applications included and comes with no browser. It is designed to run as a virtual machine host system using QEMU-KVM and virt-manager which are built in and comes setup for immediate operation.

XFCE4 desktop, and has all of the Kennel Linux RAM modes. This distro is a proof-of-concept and for experimentation. If tests prove positive perhaps a production version could be produced.

Supplied with a Void Linux kernel 6.10.10_1

Also the download fails many times before I could get it.

I'm not getting the complete download even when it says it's complete.
I'm always getting less than what it states of 855.0 MB

I just tested the links and downloaded the ISO and checksum file without any issues. The checksums seem to match.

My last one was 695 MB.
Even when it says it's complete, it ends up less than the indicated 855 MB.

I tried too many times. It said I ran out of transfer quota.

You were having problems with the download from mega.nz? Then the transfer quota was reached? What was the quota?

It seemed it was about 5 times.

I tried going to another computer, but it knew who I was.
The message that came up with the transfer quota also indicated it would last a little over 4 hours.

I've tried unsuccessfully this morning to download it again.

I'm on my 4th try.

When I try downloading, the progress bar completes for mega.nz but my Firefox web page is still downloading.
As it is downloading, Firefox crashes the tab.

I'm getting this to happen on even a different computer.
I'm normally running as spot.
The Firefox is up to date. It still happens.

I tried an earlier backup.

I even tried running the os in memory.

I haven't had this problem downloading from other sites.
I've downloaded BookwormPup64_10.0.10_nkb successfully from a different site the first time.

Why does this happen? How can I get the latest download?

For my 5th and last attempt, I brought up Linux Mint lmde to dowload the file.
It successfully downloaded the file in Firefox on the first try!

So why can't my BookwormPup_10.0.10_nkb and even another version of it, BookwormPup_10.0.9 download the file?

How can I troubleshoot this problem?

Now I have downloaded the latest version of KLV-vmHost-rc4.
I hope you or someone can help me troubleshoot for why I was having so much problem downloading from the link.

Since this is a revised version of KLV-vmHost-rc4, what information does the install have in it that shows it is a different version or it's been changed
from older versions?

In fact is there something in all of the puppylinux versions and even slight changes that can be determined somehow?

I just downloaded BookwormPup64_10.0.10_nkb_v2 .iso from the same site.
It downloaded fine the first time.
