I've downloaded this extension and it seems to work well, not too slow. It has free servers in France, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, UK and USA. Used it for a site in the USA which was blocked outside of the USA and it works well.

Free VPNs are always dodgy privacy wise (expect for proton VPN free which has of course big limitations).
But if you are using Chrome browser perhaps you do not value privacy that much?

No, never been one who is worried about "privacy" (whatever that means), haven't even been when I was still using Windows. Nice 1Mb download. Does the trick. Tried others, were slow as molasses and most didn't even work.
