Dark Reader Extension in EasyOS

Post by pp4mnklinux »

Dark Reader Extension.-

It's a must for me.

Dark reader is the best of its kind I've found.
The settings it uses for a particular site can impact page load times, but I've not experienced this to the magnitude some users described.

From memory there are four options DR uses when doing its thing. Dynamic is the most thorough, and hence the slowest. I use one of the other three for most sites and dynamic for only the most stubborn.

Dark mode for every website. Take care of your eyes, use dark theme for night and daily browsing.

This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colors, making them high contrast and easy to read at night.

You can adjust the brightness, contrast, sepia filter, dark mode, font settings and the ignore-list.

We may ask you to support the development of the app with a donation. You may see news about Dark Reader in the settings popup. There are Developer Tools for experienced users.

Dark Reader doesn't show ads and doesn't send users' data anywhere. It's fully open-source: https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader

Before you install it, disable similar extensions. Enjoy watching!

Try it, if you want, and decide by yourselves.

Have a nice day

Re: Dark Reader Extension

Seems to be available the normal way to get an extension.

Got it for Firefox using: Tools ->Add-ons and themes
A search found it in available add-ons.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
