screen capture app? vokoscreen won't work(SOLVED)

am enjoying the VoidPup64, a simple screen recorder is not available with VPM, after installing vokoscreen it fails to stay on the recording session, just flips back to opening screen. Anyone been able to run a screen capture app to upload to youtube?

@Jasper You're post is blank. If that's intended, than what you really want to do is delete it entirely. Open the post, Click the edit button. then scroll down. At the bottom there's an Options tab. Keep scrolling. On my set up the delete options aren't evident until I do.

@gychang Have you tried Mikewalsh's SimpleScreenRecorder-portable, viewtopic.php?p=68306&sid=eeaefa1a19a34 ... 10a#p68306. Constructed using an AppImage there's a good chance it will function under VoidPups. Does Void's repositories offer a native version?

Not only blank but @Jasper has reported his own (now empty) post as being spam, weird ! (but probably just a small mistake )

@mikeslr I tried the portable, no response with LAUNCH, on terminal ./LAUNCH error messages and gave up.... VPM does offer ssr but is hidden..., won't show up with vpm s simplescreenrecorder nor simplescreen. BUT with vpm s screen gives hint to install with ssr. see below.

@peebee installs fine with ssr!, Voidpup doesn't make it easy....
