TV Streaming Guide

Post by amethyst »

Sharing my guide. Unzip and place contents in the same folder (if running your browser as spot, place in the /home/spot folder or in /opt). Open the html file in your browser. IMPORTANT: You need to have an effective adblocker installed otherwise this will not be a nice experience for you and you will be re-directed to sites that you do not want to visit (I use uBlock Origin).

In the UK there have continued campaigns to re-educate people using illegal streams.

The latest one BeStreamWise ............. "Illegal Streams Let Criminals In"

https://crimestoppers-uk.org/news-campa ... -streaming

I did not download or look at the format of the links provided by @amethyst.

The mention of 'redirected' links and the use of 'ad-blockers', did raise a red flag to me.

Just general cautionary advice, that you should check 'shortened/obfuscated ' urls to see exactly where they are leading to.

You can try this here:

https://www.redirectchecker.org/

then head over to Virus Total to check the link provided:

USE AT OWN RISK. Would you rather not let me share stuff like this to the community? I'm fine with not sharing. BTW - if you do not have an effective adblocker installed , you will be at risk no matter what website/links you visit. Also, the links are not illegal since the providers of the links do not actually host the content on their servers. It's the content itself that may have ownership rights/copyright issues, having said that, I don't know of any private users who have been prosecuted for watching/accessing copyright material on the internet for personal use (they will have to prosecute millions of viewers which is not going to happen). They may go after people that actually host and share the actual content, especially if it is for financial gain. As far as "safety" is concerned, using a VPN service may be of value.
