sid shows up in a link. Why?

Post by FeodorF »

Hi All!

Things were fine till September 2024.

Daily startup at [Barry's Home] https://bkhome.org/

reading the [news] https://bkhome.org/news
or going to the EasyOS forum via [EasyOS, a simple and secure Linux distribution] https://bkhome.org/linux/easyos-a-simpl ... ution.html
this link takes me over there [There is also a forum:] https://forum.puppylinux.com/viewforum.php?f=63

as soon as I'm done over here [Board index < EasyOS] https://forum.puppylinux.com/viewforum.php?f=63
I'll go to the Main Forum [Board index] https://forum.puppylinux.com/index.php

Question: once or twice a day hoovering over [Board index] instead of .../index.php i'll get .../index?..sid=(followed by the sid number string)
Rem: While this happens I'm not signed in anywhere.

Why is this happening?

Regards,
Feodor

@FeodorF

It would be helpful to share a screenshot the next time the error appears.

On Wednesday 04.09.2024, 14:14 local time (UTC+1 / UTC/GMT+0 = 13:14 Sep. 4th, 2024) I had clicked on one of those links and ended up with an error 500 message.
