No Touchpad Operation with BookwormPup64_10.0.7

I have BookwormPup64_10.0.7 on a chrome book 3 but the touchpad is not operational. When selecting Touchpad manager, I get No Synaptics touchpad found and File /mnt/sdb1/pad was not found on disk!

I looked through some posts trying to diagnose and was able to pull this from the system. I think this means it does not see a keyboard?
