Hi Barry.
With this software there is a small problen that any of u can solve.
When I start multimedia radio, there are 8 fixed stations That I don't know how to change gor the stations I know.
With gtk radio, I search "dance", "club", "m2"... and I find this radios and ,what is more important for my needs, when a song I like is being played, I can read the name of this son, find in on utube, download the mp3 and add it to my music collection.
Thanks.
Have a nice day.
Hello
First you need to know the "url" of the radio you want, I use the web: https://www.radio-browser.info/ there, in the search box I search the radio, for example (I write) "bbcworld" And on the results page you choose the one you like and click on it, and there you can get the "url" (in this case: http://stream.live.vc.bbcmedia.co.uk/bbc_world_service)
Then you go to pupradio, and you fill in the name box (any you want), the url box (The url you have obtained from the web) and finally you choose the "Preset No" you want (from 1 to 8) and don't forget to press "Save Preset" button. And that is all
With the next radio, you repeat the process, but don't forget to choose a different "Preset No" (unless you want to change the previous one)
You can also edit the presets if i remember with the files
Code: Select all
/root/.pupradio/stations # Radio Names
/root/.pupradio/urls # Radio urls
Sorry, i don't speek English well, but may be is understandable.
I love pupradio, i think its the perfect tool to use with your favourite radio stations, a second radio app would be cool for exploring new radios, record with name and splitting the songs, but the number one for me is pupradio.
