If not done already, then this seems a perfect 'target' for a @mikewalsh portable.
Not ashamed of being a name dropper.
@Chelsea80 :-
It already is.......and has been for some time:-

.....along with each of the individual components available in 'standalone' portable format, too (for those who only ever USE a single component). We did this with Textmaker initially, because Abiword went through a long spell of being very crash-happy, often losing the user's work in the process.......and it was decided that the Textmaker component of FreeOffice was about the best 'replacement' we could find (indeed, in some respects it was found to be a big improvement).
Credits must go to mikeb on the old Forum for discovering you could do this with FreeOffice.
(I can't do this with the paid version, which is the one @ozsouth linked to, because of licensing rules. I have a feeling Softmaker would come down on me like a ton of bricks if I tried it! However, the individual would still need to purchase a licence for using it on their own machine, because as soon as the app detects it's running on different hardware, the first thing you will get is a pop-up window insisting that you register the install - via a licence 'key' - before it will let you go any further. A licence 'key' is still required for the free version, but this is automatically emailed to you as soon as you register for a free account as part of the process.
There is in any case a limit to the number of machines you can use any given key with - I think it's 3).
I have no issues with 'portabilizing' the free version, but I respect their conditions & won't attempt it with the paid-for version.
The 32-bit build is stuck at the 2019 release; after this, they moved to 64-bit only. It still works fine, though..!
The 64-bit build, although labelled "2021", is as up-to-date as possible, including the May 2023 'service pack'.
