peebee...another successful upgrade to ScPup32, 20.06 to 21.01! All went as expected,
except for touchpad settings, which I half expected anyhow! This is posted from the base

edit: updated to note I have now loaded Palemoon 28.17 via deb package after
unloading the Palemoon.sfs! All good!

Hi @Wiz57
There is still a 28.17 32-bit Palemoon sfs available ..... I would definitely use it rather than pollute my savearea with installed packages!
The way I do it is to rename the .sfs to something simple and long lasting so that the only thing to be done on update is to replace the renamed .sfs and reboot..... simples!

Hello Peebee! I installed your 5.11.0-lxpup64 kernel on FatDog64. Everything is working perfectly (wine, windows programs, games. All browsers). Could you make kernel_sources-5.11.0-lxpup64.sfs available? I would like to compile a specific kernel for my PC (single file, vmlinuz). AUFS back in the game, I will follow your work, as I did before ....
Thanks!
Hi @Duprate
I generally only upload sources and headers for the kernels that appear in an iso release.....
If you're into playing with kernels perhaps you should try to roll your own using the kernel_kit inside Woof-CE - it's pretty easy and I could let you have the config and build.conf that I use.
I will try to upload the 5.11.0 sources and send you a PM on where to find them.
Cheers
peebee

n.b. 32-bit version has switches "--no-sandbox -test-type" to obscure a problem with glibc-2.31+ and this may cause some websites (particularly Google services) to declare the browser insecure.

Hello, Peebee! Its 5.11.1-lxpup64 kernel, in addition to working perfectly on FatDog64, also works great on DebianDog64 Bullseye Overlayfs! Congratulations, multitasking developer!

Thanks again peebee. Works as usual on my bionic64
However, I did notice that the folders under /usr were
bin
lib
share
...in previous releases from you these were
bin
lib64
share
I just renamed the folder lib to lib64 and all ran as usual.

I can make it to work in fossapup64 but not in bionicpup64 because a quantum leap in glibc and libgtk-3.
EDIT: I have found a way to run 88.0.4324.190 in bionicpup64 combining libraries from libgtk-3-0-3.24.20-3.3.2.x86_64.rpm. I have used https://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/
BionicPup64-8.0 (due to /usr/lib64 being a symlink) requires the 64-bit Chromium .sfs to be converted - see: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 205#867205 (use option 2)
Having converted it, there are no other library issues.
