Now getting to some more individual user choices on setting the display. Checking it out on the testing platform on my local machine and seems to be useful.
Now considering adding it sooner than later.....any thoughts?

I went ahead and after a short short testing phase........installed this extension on the production forum.

Yes.
That is a good option to give people.
I only wonder if the number of topics or posts per page, would have any affect on people with limited download amounts or slow connection.
but if it does.
They can now use settings that work best for them.
Having choices is always good.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected
This is one of the very few items I've had on my "wish-list" for a long time. The old Murga forum didn't have the option either.....yet it seems to be 'standard' for just about every other forum I belong to.
Anyways, after managing to track down a plug-in/extension for this over on the phpBB forums, I'm pleased to see it's been implemented and - so far! - seems to be working very nicely. So.....
.....cheers, Erik!
Mike.
Limited to 25 topics and 30 posts.
Fantastic option but it could be better without limits .

@pp4mnklinux Needed to find a compromise value because a reasonable default must be set because most users do not set the number of posts displayed. We will monitor the usage and see if the values can be increased but at this time I am tending to go with a reasonably lower value like 30. I did toy with the idea of 50 as the default max limit but will wait to see.
