Language translation contributions invited

Some of newtranslations tarballs are missing. I will send files that I found at monday. Because I don’t have pc with me. Translation is in progress. I had newly figured out how EasyOS works.

I have been used puppy os for generally for maintenance for many years. And personally thank you about Puppy OS and Easy OS. I can moderate Turkish translation. My previous works are icewm translation corrections, lxqt, xfce, mx linux contributions.

I uploaded my gdrive all off translations I made: There are lots of files and many translations made outside momanager manually. I will continue translation with momanager after next release.

@BarryK I was browsing github woofq and saw a wrong translation at https://github.com/bkauler/woofq/blob/m ... strings.tr

Translation of "share" isn't in qoute. It must be "paylaş"
Its my mistake. And causes wrong translation of PuppyPin.

I will check other strings within momanager and send here tomorrow.

Hi all, I use Easy in German and there are small translation errors here and there. Most of them are just mistyping errors. For example: when I do right mouse click on Sakura I get "kopoieren" raher than "kopieren" in the context menu.

Thanks Barry, Turkish translations of common interface ex. menu, keyboard, font and rox filer are integrated with 5.4.6 version. Some of initrd and boot string translations are missing.

the sss boot_strings hasn't been implemented yet, after EasyOS changed from refind/syslinux to limine boot-loader.

So with release of 5.4.7 I have been late to post my translations :

I continue translating Turkish:

I realized that apostrophes in translations are not rendering correct on console and decided to replace with an easy and correct character.

Basic apostroph is Unicode Character ' (U+0027) and misusage of this breaks especially console apps.

My replacement is Unicode Character ’ (U+2019) and doesn't effect program algorithm.

There is an entry for "/usr/local/apps/ROX-Filer/Options.xml" file at MoManager's XML section but there is no need to translate this file. Because it is overwritten by main rox-filer translation file.

I solved wrong characters in framebuffer console issue by adding "load_consolefont" to "/etc/rc.local". There isn't any issue now.

scim Chinese input platform: scim64_1.4.18-en-zh-bionic-21.2.7.pet (10 mb)

Plus 2 Chinese language pets each for EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.8:

Traditional Chinese: easykirkstone-5.4.8-zhhk-21.2.7.pet (8 mb)

To use:
(a) any 1 of the 6 half-Chinese language pets will enable you to display and input Chinese in EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.8

(b) the 2 name+version number corresponding Chinese language pets will give you Simplified Chinese (zhcn) or Traditional Chinese (zhhk) menus, icon labels, tooltips for EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.8. Please note that all Chinese language pets rely on a suitable half-Chinese language pet already installed to the system to provide Chinese input platform and Chinese fonts. Otherwise the system cannot input Chinese and display Chinese (shown as squares).

II. icake combo pet
I have also created an icake combo pet for EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.8 with all 6 Chinese input platforms above and 3 user interface languages

III. icake combo live iso
I have also remastered 1 icake combo live iso based on EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.4.8：

so the total number of different systems created by this icake combo pet and combo live iso is 18:
18 = 6 Chinese input platforms (fcitx, gcin, hime, ibus, scim or yong) X 3 user interface languages (English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese)
