Re: Redshift Auto mode
Thanks @Sofiya
Looking at your screenshot, I wonder why some info is missing, i.e. latitude , longitude, region, city .
Does it still work as expected ? (daytime <> nighttime)
Mine looks like this on KLV (installed your xbps package) and has the complete info:

Re: Redshift Auto mode
Ah, good, didn't see on your screenshot that it's painted over (you were able to even hide that ).

Re: Redshift Auto mode
As Fred knows, his RShift_lite has always worked for me......with the small niggle that geo-location here in the UK is never that accurate. Auto-location frequently sets RShift anywhere up to 75 miles away from my real location! Probably the fault of the ISP if anything. OR Google......neither of them has ever been able to get it right..!
I just open /root/.rshift/geo_info, and manually edit things so it's showing correctly (or add missing stuff; this occasionally happens to me). Only ever needed doing once, 'cos I now 'share' the rshift-portable AND its .rshift config directory between multiple Pups from an external location.
Puppy's sym-link function really IS one of its hidden strengths.
