Is Bionicpup64 a full or frugal install?
The Quickpet->Useful->32bit compatibility sfs is designed for loading into a frugal install.
You are suppose to be able to install it into a full install, but it is really designed for frugal installs.
but Steam and some other programs still complain about a missing libstdc++.so.6.
For Steam
Quickpet icon on desktop.
Run Quickpet->Info->Bionicpup updates.
Reboot so changes are now being used.
Good idea to do this twice, if you have never done it.
May be good to go into Puppy Package Manager(PPM)
PPM->Uninstall
Uninstall what you did install for Steam, so you start fresh.
Get Steam from Quickpet->Fun
it will download and install Steam packaged for Bionicpup64.
It will also go into a bunch of other terminal displayed downloads and installs of other stuff.
When it all completes.
Should be able to run Steam from menu->Fun
My Bionicpup64 8.0 running Steam
