You don't need to see a video from MSNBC advertising a book that is now being published. In the video not even the name of the manufacturer of pegasus is mentioned - it is the notorious NSO Group based in Israel.

Institutions like Amnesty International, Forbidden Stories, Citizen Lab, Project Zero have repeatedly pointed out by whom and against whom pegasus is used - it's not only criminals and terrorists as NSO and his customers like to claim but also journalists, human rights activists, politicians, lawyers and others who are inconvenient for the buyer of pegasus.

Actually nothing new if you are not completely naive ... but good to repeat this from time to time.

I've followed Pegasus and the NSO Group for awhile now. I'm interested in strategies and tactics to "influence" the data Pegasus returns to mislead the operators into believing something that isn't. Like attaching a GPS tracker meant to monitor one's movements and location to an outbound freight train going somewhere else.

The trick is continue to allow the operators to think they're on track when in fact the data is faked. Not that easy though.

NSO Group engineers expect the collected data to be accurate................so do their clients.
