Tool to measure energy consumption in FatDog?

Post by Neo_78 »

Is there a tool in FatDog that allows you to measure and track power consumption in watts of a desktop pc? I am looking specifically for a solution that can measure non-battery operated devices; i.e. no laptops.

Cli tool would be fine...

Thanks for your ideas!

I would recommend using an external meter that the computer draws power through to measure overall consumption accurately.

I use an external meter, as @rockedge recommended. You can find cheap ones online. The advantage of having one of these at home extends beyond the computer realm.
