Hi everyone.
As I wrote in another post I am testing Ubuntu 20.04 focal.
I am faced with this problem:
when I connected my android phone to the USB of the PC with Bionicpup64 the fiction of mount appeared instantly - on the Desktop - and once I gave 'ok' the Android folder appeared;
now that i do the same thing with ubuntu 20.04 Ff. all this doesn't happen and i can't transfer any files from android to ubuntu.
In Synaptic I have seen that I have installed both 'libmtp-common' and 'libmtp9' (which I believe are needed to transfer files).
Could you kindly tell me if these two softwares are sufficient or if still more is missing and so that's why I can't connect the phone?

p.s
However I did it this way using an AppImage:
Android File Transfer for Linux
but i don't like it so i preferred as it was in Bionicpup64.
Can anyone suggest me an alternative to the AppImage?
How do I mount my android phone in Ubuntu Focal?(SOLVED)

Re: How do I mount my android phone?
Get CamPhoneTab from here.
It should get the same required packages out of Ubuntu as Debian.
Be aware that CamPhoneTab does not attempt auto-detection of devices. Run it from the Accessories menu.

easyshare in easyos buster 2.4.1
but i dont use it because after adding the required stuff by custom sfs, bluetooth works fine for file transfers in 2.4.1

oh thanks for the information Easyshare (Easyos I'll try It).
I would like to use bluetooth but there is no application under the network function, I don't know why.
