CamPhoneTab

Post by rcrsn51 »

Here is CamPhoneTab again in a combo 32/64bit version. Idevices are no longer supported, but they may work in Camera mode.

Note: The installer disables the Puppy autodetection mechanism, so you might want to first try CamPhoneTab in a test setup. CamPhoneTab does NOT autodetect the device when you connect it. Run CamPhoneTab from the Filesystem menu.

1. UNplug the device.
2. If you only want to connect your device in Camera mode, go to Step 4.
3. Open the Puppy Package Manager. Get the extra package jmtpfs.
4. Install the attached PET.
5. Plug in the device by USB.
6. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Look for USB/Camera/MTP settings.
7. Run CamPhoneTab from the Filesystem menu.
8. Remember to press the ROX Rescan button (the blue Recycle symbol) if a window does not display correctly.

Thank you - this is working for me in Tahr32 6.0.6

Does Disconnect/Quit do the unmount or is there another step I should do?
