Hi, I decided to give Puppy a look at today.
Downloaded xeniel uefi 64 bit. used dd to get it on a USB stick.
Tried booting. it got to the point where it showed a line drawing of a pup and a bit of decoration on my Dell G5 - 32Gig Ram.
It just hung at that. Only way out was pressing and holding the Power button.
Any idea what is wrong?
I've posted in the Bionic forum because the bionic 32 bit hangs on my HP G6 with 16Gig Ram at an underscore character and no further response.

Re: Xenial fails to boot from USB stick in Dell G5
The hardware is too new for Xenialpup64 7.5
Use a newer version of Puppy Linux.
Fossapup64 9.5
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

Thanks, as you will have seen by now, I have the relevant Fossapup installed on a USB stick and it boots fine.
