Pinball Fantasies

Post by Geoffrey »

Pinball Fantasies

Pinball Fantasies is an abandoned action game, developed by Digital Illusions and released by 21st Century Entertainment in 1994.

Packaged with Dosbox and SDL library's in the applications working directory, Dosbox is modified to keep it's configuration in the working directory.

Should run in most pups, runs in Bionicpup64 with 32bit compatibility installed, ALT+ENTER toggles between windowed and full screen.

Have fun, it's addictive.

This is an awesome game. Can it run on fossa 64-bit? (Or how do you enable 32-bit compatibility?) The pet file installed, but doesn't start for me...

For Fossapup64 9.5
To get the needed 32bit compatibility SFS
Use Quickpet program (icon on desktop) to download and install (load).
Look in:

Appreciate the quick response! Found and installed the SFS. Opening Pinball still doesn't work. Tried from the menu or console. Will give it another try tomorrow. I assume it works for you? Have a nice weekend btw.

No I have not tried it yet in Fossapup64 9.5.
I only provided info on how to get the 32bit compatibility software into the Fossapup64 file system.

32-bit compatibility sfs in Fossapup64 should be in quickpet in tab "useful" I think.

You can also download it from here:

Sorry, It should be in Quickpet->Useful not Quickpet->Info

I have keyboard interface with brain problem, sometimes

I updated quickpet in FP64 but non of the repositories have 32bit compatibility available....

I tried it in my install of Fossapup64 9.5
Selected the ibiblio repository.
Downloaded OK for me.

That one should work at any time, unless down for maintenance or something wrong with the Internet.

Hi!
Simply to indicate a bug with this game. Curiously, under Bionic32 and 64, you lose control of the cursor during the game. I had to restart to have access to the cursor. Under Bionic64, I no longer have access to the trackpad...shit game!
