PCManFM in LxPup Xenial as defaultfilemanager has partition mounting, while installing Thunar at 1.8mb with 14 dependencies ALSO supports partition mounting without any changes. Roxfiler is on tap.

Desktop partitions in LxPup are not a default (as unnecessary).

The essence: If an alt-file manager boots with an alt-desktop that supports partition mounting, other file managers will also if the app supports it, even when switched to JWM.

Seems like common sense but there are some conclusions...

I would expect:

a) installing PCManFM or Thunar from the PPM should automatically support partition mounting.

or

b) whatever dependencies that make partition mounting work in LxPup be included the the Mainline JWM Puppy distro. I just installed Thunar + pupvolumemonitor in 64 Fossa and it did not.
