Hi @Ramachandra Iyer . I'm butting in where I shouldn't, but there are some more questions.
From your replies, I guess the problem is with a new HP laptop, with a built in Nvme SSD. You indicate that it is used in a Dual Boot environment. I presume this means the "original" Windows 10 installation is still present. If this is the case is Fast Boot disabled? I am not familiar with dual booting Windows 10, but I have read that this can sometimes be an issue (I presume it is disabled since you have been dual booting before, but have to ask).
You also indicate that Antix Linux boots without difficulty. I get the impression that it is also installed on the laptop. Is this correct?
If so, you might be able to use Antix Linux to obtain the lspci -nnk info that 01micko has indicated might help.
Did you install Slacko using Antix, Windows or by running Slacko live?
If you can run Slacko live then you might be able to obtain the lspci -nnk info directly from the live Slacko, which might be of even more help than the Antix Linux info.
Thanks.
