I use Scpup64-21.04+2 iso. Your delta files provided will not work. Can you provide 21.04+2--21.04+3 delta file instead?

I successfully extracted samba from ScPup 21.04+3 and installed it on my QuickPup64 21.04. The main SFS size reduced by 10Mb. What a big file size reduction

Does your drive where the savefile is created works fine without filesystem corruptions?

I think my HDD works fine. It is setup with grub4dos for multiboot, hundreds of bootable ISO files (ntfs-sda5) and frugal folders (EXT3-sda6) for testing.

I replaced the created quickpupsave.3fs with previous version (dont remember which .3fs version it was) and it booted up fine with this menu.lst:
title Quickpup_21.04
root (hd0,5)
kernel /Quickpup/vmlinuz psave=/Quickpup pmedia=atahd pupsfs=sda6:/Quickpup/puppy_quickpup_21.00.sfs psubdir=/Quickpup
initrd /Quickpup/initrd.xz

This G4D configuration also works fine, but it will not create quickpupsave.3fs. It will save automatically without asking YES or NO and will create automatically a lot of folders inside /quickpup/

If the storage device was fine, did you check the filesystem if was not corrupted? Well according to your bootloader configuration, savepath was already specified on PSAVE parameter so it will automatically save the session upon shutdown

Sorry, I dont know how to check the filesystem is corrupted or not.
In my case, the created save file "quickpupsave.3fs" is exist in the /Quickpup folder and at next booting Quickpup v.21.04 give me boot error (see the boot error picture I sent). The result using other PC is exactly the same boot error.

Hope somebody will do the test?
or maybe just my mistake somewhere.

64-bit QuickPup is now eminent for release. However it hit another roadblock, double clicking a file on a Desktop shows Dbus error message related to Thunar and it turns out that Thunar crashed when called by dbus upon request by xfdesktop. However launching Thunar from terminal or double clicking /usr/bin/thunar doesn't crash thunar

G'day Mistfire, I've Successfully installed this 32-bit Quickpup 21.04 on a 32-bit 2014 Acer C720 KromeBook No longer supported by Google ( ie. No more updates ). Using MrChromeBox Firmware. I don't want 2 use Google Drive because it only offers 15 GB of Cloud Storage whereas We can have 50 GB 4 Free w/ MegaSync. I've installed megasync-Debian_10.0_i3-86.deb But it doesn't run. When I Try 2 run it from the Terminal it just returns megasync: error while loading shared libraries: libmediainfo.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. Of course I've already ReSearched this Error on the iNet.

Furthermore I've got another Dozen or so of these... Please Help!

• Click Browse and select the megasync executable command at /usr/bin then click OK

• Click Missing to find out what library files where missing

• Go to https://pkgs.org to search for missing packages. Choose debian version of the package

Mostly Fedora, Slackware, Debian still supports 32-bit.
Sadly to say that 32-bit packages was getting rare and I have no choice but to move to 64-bit since QuickPup target was 2010's or newer computers which commonly uses 64-bit cpu. QuickPup64 is now reached BETA and requires fixes for XFCE 4.16 in order to reached stable release.

I agree with this direction. I wonder how many people actually have 32-bit machines nowadays. My oldest PC is almost 10 years old, but it's 64-bit already.

G'day Mistfire, I Really Do like this Quickpup because of the XFCE Desktop.

So I Hope yoU can Help w/ a couple of niggling issues. Those being Boot time iz 1 minute 13 seconds to the Desktop, I'd like 2 Chop that in 1/2, there's a couple of pauses in the Boot Process that I don't know what's happening. The Subject iz a 2014 Acer C720 KromeBook ( 1.4 GHz Dual Core intel Celeron, Handicapped by 2GB RAMemory, But w/ the slight benefit of a 16GB SSD ) it's a Frugal install. Any Suggestion about what I can Do 2 Speed the Boot up Will be Welcome!

Also wunce Desktop iz Loaded the Wireless interNet doesn't Automatically connect even tho I have put in the WiFi SSid Password, I have 2 Manually Clic' on the WiFI Network Connection icon & Choose my SSid & then it Connects, so the Compound eFfect of that iz a less than impressive User eXperience. How can I Remedy that? Please & Thanx

I've Researched the Default Btrfs & my conclusion iz that it's Mature enough & Better Suited 2 SSD than eXt4 for Primetime, so I'm Keen 2 Try it... However the default Grub4Dos doesn't detect the Default Btrfs so I can't use it! Of course I've Already Researched the issue on the INet & I'm yet 2 find a solution. What's the Secret Please?

Well, here is the painful option. Boot QuickPup in pristine state without loading your affected savefile and create new save file to work with.

For booting from btrfs. Use grub2 not grub4dos

The PPM GRUB2 "appears" to have been crippled by development, I think. I dont know why this is or what the intent is in doing so.

IT would be nice if:

• the PPM allowed GRUB2 and its utilities to be installed,

• OR (a better solution) featured OOTB in the WoofCE distros.

Maybe in the future, development will notice and adjust.
