Did the forum get hacked? Or have they organized and decided to go separately?
Should the other Puppy Linux forum that I believe is run by the Canadians be setup in a similar fashion?
Curious

The far-left is as fascist as the far-right is!
The question is not entirely clear to me. But I'll try.
Nobody hacked anyone. Initially, forums in different countries were engaged only in translating the official versions of Puppy into their own languages. Some stopped at this, but some began to make their own versions "based on" with major differences. So no one kicked anyone out and no one broke away from anyone.

Looks like a bargain to me, compared to their ubuntu course which is double the price of puppy.

I don't recall a Russian language section of this forum. Perhaps someone started a thread for Russian language?

Now there are all sorts of coaches, courses. Like mushrooms after rain. During the pandemic, even more of them appeared, because the people sit at home and want to learn something - this is what all the scum and scammers use. I think there will soon be a course like "how to make a million bucks with Puppy Linux".

Sometime ago I added a link to the Russian forum in the International section of the forum

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
@rockedge Frankly, I think it doesn't belong there. It's not a subforum and breaks the logic of the forum structure.
Why not add it to the links under the "Links" button? And if you do I suggest that you also add a link to the Japanese forum.
If links are appropriate, there is a Canadian Puppy Forum that has been in place for several-many years. It, too, could offer a "steering" to/for members.
Gentlemen, if you only noticed this link on the MAIN page after two and a half months, no one will ever find external forums in Links
And with logic everything is fine. The section is called PUPPY LINUX INTERNATIONAL and there is an ARROW on the icon - it means this is an external forum in a language other than English.
New forums should be added, but not in Links.
