Hi guys, remember me? I've signed up to this forum specifically to post this.
It's not a request for myself, but traditionally a lot of people complained about not being able to find a good alternative to MS paint i.e. a very simple bitmap graphics editor.
It seems a number of new options have been developed in the last few years, and I thought I'd mention dibuja, because it is gtk2 and seems pretty good.

If you are compiling it is probably worth downloading the latest code as keyboard shortcuts have been added since the last release.
Could also be good if someone is looking for a project to contribute to.
There is room for improvement in printing support, and some more drawing tools or options to the existing tools would be nice. e.g. it has a nice polygon tool, but it would be nice to be able to draw a polyline that isn't "closed". And either a new tool to draw arrows or an option for arrowheads when drawing a line would be nice...
