I just got AudioNodes to work on a Bionic64-8.0.
Had to use:

run-as-spot /root/Downloads/AudioNodes-0.3.2.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run

I really wish I knew how to use it! Seems like a tool I'd like to try!
