Was having issues with the older one, tried the new one and it gets to the video but then displays,
[BAD_HTTP_STATUS: 403] Potential causes: IP block or streaming URL deciphering failed

I'll play with it when I have some time, probably something from the older version in the way still.

Puppy Linux. It just works!
Foassapup 9.5 64-(Frugal) Mobo, M5A99FX PRO - CPU, AMD FX-6300 6 core - mem,32GB - Storage
ssd 128GB M4 - ssd-256GB APS - ssd-1TB PNY - GPU GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G. Yes it's a Mutt.

I've been getting the same error message. Sometimes it goes away, but happens more often than not. I downloaded an older version (Appimage) of 0.22, and that works without problem.

EDIT Spoke to soon. After trying a few more links, I started getting the same error again.

Yes I'm getting same error message as @peppyy and @Keef. I've also got Freetube on MX Linux, which I installed from a .deb, and that's displaying same behaviour. In BookwormPup MiniTube has gone haywire as well.

Only method that appears to be still working (for me at any rate) is to search for a clip, copy the URL, then open that in MPV. Not exactly the most convenient way of doing things.

Looks like a fix has been found and should be released soon.

0.23.2 is out. But don't get too excited, I'm still getting the same error.

This problem is still ongoing. Reloading a window will eventually get a result, although might take quite a few goes. I recently found that there is a keyboard shortcut for this - Control R. There isn't a button for it, so it meant going back a page then loading the link again.
