Min browser web site has a deb package for download.
https://minbrowser.org/
min_1.21.0_amd64.deb
Note:
Do not install by their posted method.
For Puppy installing of deb packages.
Download the deb package.
Left click on it to install.
Runs for me in Fossapup64 9.5
To get it to run from the menu entry you have to use the Login and Security Manager->configure applications to run as spot
Check min
OK.
Can also run from terminal command.
This lets it run as root.
Code: Select all
min --no-sandbox
This runs it as spot.
Code: Select all
run-as-spot min

That is a question you need to ask at the Min web site.

Hi, recently joined, but tried what you suggested...and yes, it does work. Thank you so much, let's keep in touch on the forum. My name is Rose, nice to meet you!
February_2025 || ______ I have created a pet and sfs file of the new version of Min, the truth is that it has been working well for me in different Puppy Linux distributions that I have used
New version min-1.34.0 Pet:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/bcf5ryri ... 4.pet/file
New version min-1.34.0 Sfs:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/nc4kr2j1 ... 8.sfs/file
Old version min-1.23.1 Pet:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/gclqilu2 ... 4.pet/file
I like Min because it seems to run faster, it seems to cut off access to different websites less, and I feel like there are fewer people breathing down my neck. Although this may all be just me.
Apart from that, when the audio fails in the main browsers, Min continues to work.
Buona fortuna

it is strange however Vivaldi 3.4.2066.106 still seems faster? using speedbattle.
how can that be? shouldnt Min be ligther?
Well, this is nice! I don't know about Vivaldi, I have used it in the past, and it's just too many bells and whistles for me, but this Min Browser booted almost instantaneously from the terminal. And it has a built-in dark mode. No theme or addon necessary.
Is this browser not a chrome clone? It doesn't appear to be one.
